Since the launch of Platform 5 two weeks ago, we’ve listened to users and have already released 4 new extensions. Two of which are free!
The four new extensions are:
- Pins – Pinterest Style Posts Section (Free)
- Massive Text – Huge Responsive Text Section (Free)
- PostGrid – Dynamic Post Grids for WordPress Posts (Pro)
- Access Control – Control Who Can Use PageLines Features (Pro)
Here’s a few details…
Pins Section
Pins is a section that we have had for a while on the old DMS system. Based on customer requests we ported this popular section over to the new Platform 5 system.
Massive Text Section
We’re a fan of huge text. It makes an impression and can get across a marketing message in a very clear way.
We came across a very cool JQuery plugin called SlabText and decided to port it to a very cool free section for PL5.
Post Grid Section
PostGrid does exactly what you might think… It pulls in a list of posts from any WordPress post type and draws them in a grid format.
It supports a variety of different graphical formats, as well as responsive/grid changes and more.
Access Control
One of the key customer types for PageLines are web professionals, who make websites for a living.
An issue professionals often face is customers inadvertently or accidentally breaking aspects of the site.
To solve this, we created the simple Access Control plugin which allows you to control the aspects of the PageLines that other users can edit or control.
Get Everything In Platform 5
Adding all these extensions is one-click from inside of the new Platform 5. To get started, just download the plugin and install in WordPress. You’ll find the extensions under “PageLines” > “Extend” :)
